Plot

A plot is most often about a series of events that the main character goes through. These events can involve other characters, places or even things inside the character, like feelings or needs.

The series of events should be connected to each other and will usually move towards an end goal or solution for the main character. The main character often learns or grows as they experience the events or try to solve their problem. What the character achieves or learns is the theme
.
The plot should get more and more tense or exciting as the story goes on. The tension should reach a high point or "climax" near the end of the story: if this happens too early in the story, your audience will lose interest or be disappointed when they reach the end.
