Richard seized power in 1483. Was he really a 'wicked uncle' who killed 'the Princes in the Tower'? Nobody knows. Richard seized power when his brother, Edward IV, died unexpectedly. He died in battle at Bosworth in 1485, against Henry Tudor, who claimed his crown.
